Does anyone know an alternative to silicone sealant (to run around the sides of a bath)?
I have now applied on several occasions silicone sealant of varying brands and seemingly none last very long.
Either black mould appears, despite being applied very smoothly and neatly, or small tears appear breaking the seal and requiring reapplication.
One or both of the above are happening every 3 or 4 months and it's driving me nuts.
Other than gentle wiping/mopping dry after a shower/bath no chemical cleaners are being used on it and am at a loss as to what to do, so I can only suggest, if possible trying to use an alternative to silicone sealant.
