Hello,

I am renovating my single skin garden office / outbuilding.

As part of it, i am going to raise the roof as i barely fit inside.

The current brick walls are approx 217.5cm high from the foundations (around 29 courses of 75mm brickwork).

I want to build the wall up another 4 courses - so approx 247.5cm high.

Can anyone help me understand if this is sensible to do for a single brick wall building?

What is the max height that is sensible for a single skin outbuilding?

I have attached photos and a drawing of the top view/floor plan, and also a side/elevation view to show the ground level, foundations and wall heights to make it clearer.

Any guidance on this would be much appreciated!

Forgot to add, there are 3 pillars along the back wall, and two at the front corners - shown in the top view / floor plan drawing
