Hi

Our house keys were stolen recently. Going to replace locks and can see size is 55/45. Can’t see many with that size at B&Q. (One or two at Toolstation/Screwfix) Doors were replaced a few years ago so wondered why so apparently few and far between? Also, don’t suppose I can replace with a 100mm but 60/40?

Thanks

Order from Amazon then for delivery tomorrow, so long as it's a 3* TS007 you are assured of quality, if you are then just make sure you pay attention to the ext side so you don't pointlessly end up with the anti snap on the inner half, it's been known!

Thanks. Sod’s Law we had front and back doors replaced at different times. One is 55/45 and the other 45/40

Get suited cylinders made to the required size and on the same key. Ultion will do next day delivery, although pricy, but one of their authorised dealers will be cheaper. But if the insurance are paying, it won't matter.

Have a look to see if the cylinder projects beyond your existing handles on the outside. It is best to be flush, or fractionally recessed, so it cannot easily be grabbed and twisted, so maybe you can use a shorter projection.
