How can I ensure the first row of planks for a new wood floor is as close to perfectly straight as I can?
The skirting board 'wavers' a bit. It looks straight and has a couple of 'bulges' that stick out (curving out to around 8mm to the rest of the skirting).I have packers that I can adjust from 2-20mm - aiming for at least 10mm gap around edge.
I can adjust packers along the skirting baord, but how can I know the row is straight before continuing with further rows?
