Skoda fabia wiring harness door seal replacement

Ok may be a long shot but.... after finding multiple breaks in the harness I've changed the wiring harness.
Not a terrible job but in really struggling getting the boot cover seated on the door side... any tips? It's not the multi plug side as said its to the door side right hand side of photo... herws hoping Dave

Try warming the boot and cables up with a hair dryer, and applying silicone spray to help things slip over.
