Hi, I'm building a workshop at the top of the garden..it's 6x3.5m. the slab has been poured but due to a mess up on my part it has a 0.5⁰ slope from the back to the front, putting the front around 50mm lower than the back.

It will be a timber framed workshop on a single course of bricks (which I have already laid)

The question is, am I better off constructing it so that it is square (to the base) or constructing to build up the front by 50mm, keeping everything vertical..

Thanks!

my thought
it wont make any real difference to the actual shed other than the top will lean in or out about an inch or less
doors or windows without any friction stay may swing towards wide open on the low end or fully shut or fully open on the high side
water buts will have to be at the low end
are you keeping it below 2.5m to avoid the need for planing permission assuming near the boundery

Good thinking about windows and doors, hadn't even thought about that. I think I will probably try to level it out with timber as it will be cladded down to the brick anyway. Facia will cover the wonky bits.. yes all good on the planning side of things..

Thanks!
