slow start up

hi guys and gals
problem is thus

on startup web browser or email wont load

then all of a sudden 2 mins or so later bingo everything normal

intel 1.7 processor windows xp

any suggestions?

have you checked what is in the startup folder and also had a good defrag?

Also clean out any old "junk" i use a "cleaning prog" about once every 2 months, its amazing what rubbish it finds (stuff you didn't know you had, that you dont want that you dont use that you never collected, but IT STILL gets there, and slows the pc)

Have you got any firewall/Internet Security software installed. If so, try turning it off and compare starup speeds. Sometimes software firewalls are a pain.

you where right breezer folder full of c**p cleared it out all ok
