Smart Lock

Hi All,

I am thinking of investing in a SmartLock for my home and just wondered what modification I would need to do with the existing door handle (pic attached).

I am looking at the August Lock or the Kevo Lock. Any suggestions on what I need to buy to make my existing doorhandle/lock compatible would be appreciated.

Is there a specific reason for doing it ?
Have a read of this article and then see if you think they are a good idea Then you mention the Kevo, which is picked out for special attention :
The Kwickset Kevo lock has a “fantastic” software security system with strong crypto, Rose said, but should be avoided because the lock was so badly made you could open it in seconds with a screwdriver.

I think there is a question as to whether your home insurer would cover any losses from a burglary where one of these locks has been used....
