I have a recently bought new Sony Bravia tv model KDL-32WE613. I want to uninstall an app and install another.

The way I get to the apps is to press the digital button on the remote and move the cursor to the digital input (where Freeview is accessed) and press that..

I then press Home and a list comes up showing Apps, Programme list, etc, etc. I press apps and they all show up. But there is no Google Play Store selection for me to uninstall/install apps.

Where am I going wrong?

Is Internet access set up and working on the TV?

Are you sure that the TV should have access to the Google app store rather than the manufacturer's own app portal?

If this or any other reply was helpful to you, then please do the decent thing and click the T-H-A-N-K-S button on the posts you found helpful. The Thanks button appears when you hover the mouse pointer near the Quote Multi-quote buttons. This isn't a big thing to ask of you, it takes a couple of seconds to do and it costs you nothing. This is the proper way to show your thanks for the time and help someone gave you, and doing so will help to ensure that you continue to receive help and advice.

It doesn't have Google Play Store, you have to pay a bit more. I have a Bravia, on mine, like yours you're stuck with what it has at the time of purchase. Either exchange it for another that has play store onboard or you'll need a firestick or similar.

I can't recall android or non android being. mentioned when I bought it on Amazon. So I'm glad I checked with diynot . Thanks to you all for your knowledge and useful advice.
