Hi all
For weeks the fire alarm in our garage has been chirping. At the time I didn't realise that it was telling me that the battery was low. I thought it was still hardwired from the Texicom control box.
Last Sunday morning the house alarm started making the "something is wrong" beep. The keypad panel said that the battery in the garage smoke sensor was flat. Last night I replaced the battery. Moments later it started making really loud continuous beeps so I had to remove the battery. I tried again this morning (without putting the sensor back in to the ceiling mount), same thing. I did make the mistake of pressing the tamper button, which than tripped the house alarm... which I guess shows that it is talking to the house alarm.
What do I need to do to stop the loud beeps from the smoke sensor?
Thanks in advance.
BTW it is an Everday SD360B1 smoke sensor
