Spring hinge for top-hung kitchen cabinet (Ed.)

We have a cupboard that opens upwards and has a spring on each side.

One had snapped.

Is there any way to find out what the spring is to buy a replacement?

Obviously I can measure the length but how do I get the tension?

Probably simpler just to replace the whole hinge unit or even the pair of them as you can get a pair fairly cheaply.....
