Although I have not seen any announcement about this, it looks fun - watching the forum as things are posted.
It's a bit like watching a live conversation.

Spy slipped in on the sly

Hardly - I just clicked it to see what it did, and after about 15-20 seconds of watching posts scroll by, decided that I couldn't see what use it could possibly be, and was about to get out whan I saw one of my posts trundle by in this real time list.

I'd posted it a good 25 minutes earlier.

It fills the page first with things that have happened most recently. Once the page is filled new events appear at the top. So it is real time, once the page has loaded.
