I have recently purchsed a Call of Duty disc off of Ebay and when I came to install it it asked for the Steam account details which of course I do not have have, is there any way round this so as I can play this game

Yes I can do that but surely this steam account only allows the original purchaser and steam account to install on another computer
And you bought a used copy of the game off a crook knowing this.. Why, exactly?
I was not aware of this Steam account thing when I bought it
Well you can always sign up for Steam and try it. Worse case scenario: You've wasted your money.
