DIYer,

I want to put coloured stickers on my domestic pipework to make it easier to identify hot, cold, flow, return, etc in the future.

Could there be any harm from the adhesive on the stickers reacting with the copper over 10, 20, 30 years?

I know some things make copper corrode faster. I don't want to inadvertently speed up that process even over a long timespan.

Regards,
Bester

No problem. Copper is resistant to most things.

You actually get pre marked tapes for exactly that but as its only the one installation , no point in buying different rolls , fill your boots it will be fine , or just write on the pipes with a Marker pen

That's great! I'll mark out my pipework with the stickers I have. Hopefully I'll never need to see them again.
