On this forum using IE8 there seems to be a problem.

Stop running this script?
A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly.
If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.

It is not a real problem for me as in the main I use Firefox but this threed shows it is becoming a real problem for other members of the forum and these members include some very helpful ones.

Could the IT guys on this section come forward with any ideas as to both cause and remedy as I would not like to lose these valued members of the forum.

Cause? Who cares.

Remedy? Use Firefox, and install the NoScript add-on.

Result? Sorted.
