Strom electric boiler

Hello,

I moved into a new flat and have an electric Strom boiler for hot water and heating.

The hot water is fine, but when i switch the heating on the temperature goes up and up and when it reaches 50 it switches the whole system off. the overflow light also goes on. I usually get a few minutes of the radiator being hot being it reaches 50 and turns off.

Does anyone know i fix this? the hot water is completely fine, But the heating has never worked ok.

https://stromltd.com/ is the makers website and has the manuals for it (for whatever that is worth to help you, as you may already have them for the precise model of boiler installed in your home).

Landlord, if renting, should be informed / asked to help / fix.

If the manuals / fault finding guides don't help you and you are the home Owner maybe call back the original installer (if that info is available from any documentation). Or maybe contact Strom for a list of local installers who'll be familiar with it?

NB Wet electric central heating will be one of the most expensive ways to heat a home.
