Suitable fire rated night latch, required.

Try ERA 1730-35-1 or ERA 1530-35-1 both of which conform to BS 8621:2007 (which mirrors the BS 3621:2017 but for 'escape locks'). They do have snibs, but the inside lever overrides the snib. I have come across these on refurbs (the outside door furniture is quite distinctive). Alternatively try Ingersoll SC71 or SC73. The 71 is deadlocking, the 73 is none deadlocking, but they are really quite expensive, so I've generally only seen them on higher value/risk commercial premises

Although a few years old, the following may help.

BTW, with many night latches that do have exterior key deadlocking, simply putting the key cylinder in upside down will disable the key deadlocking function. Not sure if that is acceptable from a regs point of view.
