swiss to uk plug?

i have just bought a swiss applience. it has a 3 pins. i would like to re-wire it to a uk plug. is this straight forward?

remove the existing plug. If you find brown/blue/green and yellow striped (which if its a new appliance you probablly should though i'm not positive on switzerlands rules) then you are good to go.

if not then you'll have to figure out the wiring. The centre pin on a swiss plug is earth so with your meter you should at least be able to figure out which is the earth wire. Which way round live and neutral are wired isn't so crucial.
