Hello,

We recently took down a radiator temporarily for paintwork. (We have an Ideal Logic System boiler with hot and cold water tanks in the flat, if useful to know). We re-fixed the radiator this morning but now have no hot water or central heating. We have an F1 error message - all water valves are open and the tank is full. We tried bleeding the radiators but no air is coming out of any of them, we've also opened up the valve on the boiler to try and increase the pressure but the gauge isn't moving. We don't really know what else to try, any suggestions??

Sorry, that would have been helpful. This is what we have below the boiler.

Your filling loop isn't in that pic. It will be elsewhere. Have you never topped up your pressure in the past ?

Have look around for a silver coloured ,braided ,flexible hose. Fitted somewhere on the pipework , possibly near your hot water cylinder.....pics may help around that cylinder.

That's it. Remove the silver hose from its clips ( it's just parked there for storing).
You need to fit that across the 2 valves ,that have black levers. Each of them currently has a cap that you must unscrew off first to enable the hose to be fitted.
