Tax as a share of national income is still on course to rise in each of the next five years to hit a postwar record of 38% of GDP.
 
So Growth has been downgraded again - so who could see that coming? Look at our pathetic growth in the last decade.

GP appointments in 48hrs now it’s more like 21 days
steady gdp growth

36,000 more teachers
longest period of sustained low inflation since the 70s
record levels of literacy and numeracy in schools
85,000 more nurses
32,000 more doctors
Child benefit up 26% from 1997
2,200 sure start centres
£200 winter fuel allowance
cut long term youth unemployment by 75%
free nursery places for 3 and 4 year olds
Cleanest rivers, beaches, drinking water and air since before the industrial revolution
