Tax rises and the Autumn statement

What, the plans are destroying the country? How? Give some real-world examples other than you just don’t like anything done by the Tories.

NHS f***d
criminal justice system f****d
frictionless trade with our biggest trade partner f****d
mental health services f****d
prison system f***d
asylum system f****d
rivers and seas full of sewage
7 million people in fuel poverty
8 million people on NHS waiting lists
5 million people stuck in rent trap

let’s look at Iraq war: it was an American war, revenge for 9/11.
UK is a USA puppet, like it or not we were going to be involved with Iraq and Afghanistan whoever was leader.

”messianic obsession with a new world order” - really?
The Iraq war was based on lies: WMD, War on terror. Many people fell for the lies, many peoiple saw through them.
It was probably more about continuing Bush snr's legacy, oil perhaps, continual financing of the war machinery in US, increased support for Bush jnr back home perhaps.
The military industry in USA is worth over 600 Billlion $, not to be sniffed at considering the car industry in USA is worth a paltry 100 Billion $.
It was not about WMD nor a war on terror. If Saddam had WMD he would have used it on the invading US, et al.
Saddam was diametricaly opposed to Bin Laden, so Saddam would not have been involved in 9/11.
Bush and Blair probably fit the 'messianic obsession with a new the existing world order' than either Iraq, or Afghanistan.

Also Afghanistan had nothing to do with 9/11. Bin Laden was Saudi. And Afghanistan offered to kick Bin Laden out of the country to avoid a war with USA.

So all that is caused by this:

Conservatives in power with their plans for: deregulation, freeports, charter cities.

Never mind, Labour will sort it out, won't they?

I can see why you supported Saddam:

”"Iraq and Palestine are in one trench. Saddam is a hero," read a banner over a picture of the Iraqi leader and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat”

Saddam= mates with Palestine terrorists = mates with Himmie

Gant doesn’t believe anything politicians say..apart from Brexit when he laps up what they say. :ROFLMAO:
Any evidence of I lap up what politicians say about brexit?
See you believe in what politicians tell you going off your support for Starmer and Blair this morning.
No fool like an old fool eh.

No, he didn’t do well, he only won 30 extra seats

Corbyn focused entirely on the liberal left so he got loads of votes….mostly in Labour heartlands

Corbyns strategy was maximising one sector of the electorate not winning votes in key marginals.

Starmer can’t win on a left wing platform.

you have to decide if you want Labour to have progressive left wing policies and lose
or have policies which those swing voters in key marginals will vote Labour into power.

The big question is: do you want another 5 years of Conservatives in power with their plans for: deregulation, freeports, charter cities.
If they got back in the left would resurge under someone like Burnam, who is smarter than stammer. Stammer's shadow cabinet isn't half as bright as bliars.

Counterfactual

Blair won with a massive majority and then won twice more with large majorities - he Was clearly very popular with the public, we don’t know whether John Smith (who was a great politician) would’ve been the same
And sadly missed the opportunity to join the euro, probably a deal with murdoch, though he resisted pressure for a referendum

Blair was a cult

What was Johnson?

Truss?

Chosen by the elderly tories as their favourite

And second favourite.

Certainly not chosen for competence or ability.

Bliar would have been a tory in a different age.

Truss is somewhere within the spectrum

Johnson a shameless opportunist.
