Telephone cable on house i brought

Hi

I recently brought a 70's house. There is a coiled up collection of cable on the side of the house which looks ugly.

It runs across the top of the external side of the house from a telephone mast in the street.

The cable then splits off into my attic. Whay can I do to make this look less ugly, next time I have work on my fascias ask them to put the coiled up cable into the attic?

Would it be a question for BT?

As you are outside the UK why would it be BT?

If you are in the Uk post a pic of the pole it connects to, it may even have a label attached on it, you may need to contact BT i think its called BT Openreach now, but be carefull they came to me, done naff all and put 100 pound call out on my bill, so check before asking them to come out.

Not sure how good you are with wiring, but if it was me I'd chop the coil off, crimp the cables back together using telecoms/jelly crimps, put some heat shrink sleeving over the top for good measure, then push is up behind your soffit.

As he is outside the UK and we have no idea where he is, nor of the penalties for interfering with telecom wiring, that is very poor advice.

Pot and kettle Foxhole, What really irritates me is those who criticise and in doing so use a poor demonstration of the English language and grammar. What doesn't irritate me is those who have a poor understanding of the English language and grammar but get their point across perfectly well.
Some are linguists, some are numerate, some are artists, some are scientists etc. and if they are not perfect outside of their niche, does it actually matter?
So if a lack of basic English really irritates you, please recheck your post and amend it accordingly. I look forward to your perfect correction of your post.

Mi hole poynt is it dont mater wot yuo gett rong as lon as ovvers undastand wen a mastook is maid. Butt iff yuo do krittesize then maik shore yuo gett yor krittesization rite
