Telephone extension

Hi

I have just got a telephone extension kit. It did not come with instructions.

The wire has four coloured wires coming out of it, yellow, red, black and green and the small box has 6 inputs.

Were do these go?

Is this wire the wire you bought with the kit or the wire coming in from outside the house ?

If it is the one coming in from outside then it is the property of BT or the cable company and you must NOT interfere with it.

DIY extension wiring connects to the terminal block that BT supply.

yes this is the wire that came with the kit.

I want to plug it in to the BT main point in the house.
