Im installing a Texacom Premier Elite 24 System for my son in his new home, that requires two remote keypads, The system was purchased as a kit where you can customise it to suit your needs. At the time he only wanted one keypad at the front entry/exit, so I opted for the Texacom Premier LCDP keypad with the "keyfob" option. BUT as they do, he changed his mind and wanted an extra keypad on the rear entry/exit door. I have found a new (old) Honeywell Accenta remote keypad in my garage that will do the job.....or will it ?
The Texacom has four connections (+/-/T/R) and a dil switch set up to identify which panel it is etc etc. Howver the Accenta panel has 6 connections (+/-/coms/sound/tamp)
Will it connect to the Texacom Premier Elite panel ???
