Hi all,

I setup a premier elite 48 some months ago, working without issues.

It replaced an old system so wiring wasn't changed to sensors but was checked for continuity.

Zone 4 has suddenly come back with a tamper error. I've removed the wires on the panel and checked continuity which reads 22ohms (not kiloohms just ohms) so tamper looks ok to me.

Checked while wired to the panel and both tamper and circuit are showing 0 ohms.

On the keypad looking at the zone setup I see the attached, where zone 3(and the rest) show panel.

Any ideas why zone 4 may be different and if it should be panel04 how to change it back?

For ref, there is a pir and glass break on the zone, wiring is no resistors, and the two sensors are wired in series. (It was like that when I replaced the panel!)

Twist tamper pair together in first device, does tamper fault clear.
Could be cable issue, or device lids.Isolate one device at a time to determine fault.

I removed the tamper loop altogether and just put a piece of wire on the panel, same error.

Looking at rpk's I suspect somehow zone four has attached to rkp1 Zone2

With the link in the tamper terminals on zone 4,now go to engineer utilities, zone status for zone 4. What does to show on keypad.

It still showed as the initial image. I went into rkp and removed Zone2 from rkp1, and the zone4 went back to normal.
