Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help.

I was adding an expansion module for my Texecom alarm today and I’ve somehow broken it.

I had to remove the wire for the wireless expansion unit and when I’ve reconnected it the alarm now won’t set.

I’ve removed the additional expansion unit and put everything back to normal however now when I am trying to set the alarm I get and error message saying radio not ready wait b/f arming.

I have tried absolutely everything I can think of and can’t get anywhere.

I have confirmed the expansion units on engineer utilities but Literally can’t think of anything else……please help!

I have searched the forum and from what’s been said previously I can only assume the mesh network is down. Is there a way to “reset” this?

Sorry but the message you have would appear to be you are arming the system however you dont say anything about arming the system.

with the lack of detailed information, i would suggest down power the panel completely wait 20 seconds and power it back up. put battery on, close lid put mains back on.

what does it show then?

Thanks for your reply. Yes it was when trying to set the alarm.

I tried powering it down and it didn’t work.

I left it a few hours then started to get supervision errors off each wireless detector.

I decided to remove all wireless detectors then re-add them.

This worked and the system is back to normal now.

Thanks

Johnny

Okay then the issue is related to the DT-W or D20-W, so you have wireless dual techs, what are the modes all the wireless devices in?

auto, hybrid, always awake,, you should not change a device from its default mode.

what does ricochet monitor look like for the dualtechs?
What are the ricochet diagnostics look like for your wireless devices?
