Texecom Premier Elite 24, Self control as well as installer

I had a premier Elite and smart com Installed by a professional installer, I want to change some settings in the App like Name the Tags, reduce the time from set to armed.

Can this be done by me as the user and owner, or can this only be dome by the installer who has said if i let him know he will change stuff.

I own it not him so can i change stuff ??

You need the engineers code to change things.

Normally an engineer will not give his engineers code out, although they should be able to change it for your remotely in your case (smartcom), however any warranty or liability they gave you would probably be void if this is done, this may affect your insurance depending on what you have disclosed to them about your alarm.

It gets a little more complicated in that smartcom requires a cloud account for version 2, currently self installers can register for this I believe, (although I believe the installer can release the panel from their portal so it can be added to another companies portal or self installer and it will still function whether registered or not currently).
