Hi
I have a client with a texecom premier elite system.

Is there an add on I can install to allow the alarm to be programmed using an app or similar ? Doing anything on the keypad is cumbersome at best !

Texecom elite can be programmed via a laptop, using Wintex software.

If you add the com ip module then you can program the alarm remotely and the client can also use their phones to set and unset.

There is currently a UDL module there but client doesn’t want to pay any monitoring.

Install a Smartcom then you can use the Texecom Connect on mobiles

Yes,but depends on what version of software your control panel is.
Press menu 4 this will tell.

It’s v 5.04.02

That's an upto date version. You will need an installer ID to connect system to the cloud.
