Hi All,
I have had a Premier 24 panel installed for a few years which a local sparky did as part of house renovation. Its been working ok until recently where I have had few system errors including faulty battery etc but as I wanted to upgrade the panel to one that can have wireless option for sensors as well as one where I can remotely turn turn it on and off so I decided to upgrade the panel to 64w and use existing 4 of the wired zones and add additional wireless ones as I currently have 7 zones altogether.
Now I have limited knowledge of wired alarms although I have setup few wireless in my time which are completely different beast. With the upgrade of the panel I have checked the connections and all seem almost identical except the 12v Aux connections on the new panel. There are 2 for Aux 12v and 2 for Aux 12v 0 so a total of 4. Whereas the old panel has just 2 for Aux 12v positive and negative.
Now can I connect the wires that go to 12positive to the new panel 12v connectors and the wires that go to old panel 12v negative to the new 12v 0 connector? I know this may seem a basic question but I don't want to connect them incorrect and damage the panel.
Thank you in advance for your help
