Hi, having installed a new Texecom Premier and got it all working (thanks to help from this forum) I've now got another issue which I'm sure is a programming one.
My Zone 3 is a loop of upstairs window contacts (no tamper) which are programmed as normally closed. The circuit works perfectly. If a window is opened while the system is armed i get an alarm. Happy days.
However, in the summer we regularly go out and leave the upstairs windows ajar. Therefore i want it to be able to omit them. So, under Zone 3 attributes I made sure that 'O' was in place to made the zone omitable. I then tested using the omit procedure in the manual (enter code - press omit - enter zone #, etc.) only to find it not working. it simply ignored the omit and arm failed as the zone was active.
I then tried to do the same thing via 'part arm', so added the variable to make it under 'part arm 1'. Again the procedure in the manual fails.
The photo below shows the Zone 3 attributes (part 1)
and the resulting position when i try to omit or part arm.
All advice gratefully received.
