Text size in Firefox 25.0

Hi,

I'm using Firefox on Win 8 and it has just upgraded itself to Firefox 25.0. Since doing so, the text size in the bookmarks sidebar has increased so where I used to have around 70-80 bookmarks visible without scrolling down, I now only have 30-35. I've tried changing the default font size but this just changes text on the websites I visit and the text in the sidebar remains the same.

Can I change this?? My eyesight hasn't deteriorated in the past week so don't really need super-sized text on my screen!!

Personally I only use the bookmarks toolbar.. but

Oops..that said Toolbar not sidebar.. Probably still relevant though

That's worked...kind of... The text is smaller, and so I have more bookmarks visible now, but the line spacing is still leaving bigger than normal gaps between each bookmark.

Why do they change things when they don't need changing???

Are you familiar with editing the userChrome.css file to change aspects of Firefox's appearance? If so, it looks as if a solution to the spacing can be found here:

If you haven't heard of userChrome.css before, the file doesn't exist in the later versions of Firefox and has to be created. A Mozilla Knowledge Base article about it:
