My mate has a combi in his loft. He doesn’t even bother to wait for the kitchen tap to get hot, it takes that long for the hot to get to the tap that they either wash up with cold or boil a kettle.

Problem is some heating engineers don't explain this even installing. Or the customer just doesn't get it.

He could put a small under sink water heater in

He's also got to think that bacteria will grow if they don't use taps regularly

It was expensive but I think I've done the right thing.

I've only done the ground floor.

I've not had my heating on so far, its not got that cold as yet, so couldn't tell.

I know how the public feel with disorganised unreliable tradesmen.

I know the electrician and the floor layer . Both have been a nightmare. Both have their problems but are still terrible at keeping times.

Interesting... thanks for posting, it looks like a heavy sponge/memory foam construction.

How much is a pack of this stuff, if you don't mind me asking?

Looks a good job, will look forward to floor pics.

It's OK, found it listed on a website.

The floor is half done. They run out of grey. But it's coming along.

I'm now fitting triple glazing to complete the insulation of the kitchen.
