The "Thanks" button

how do I thank someone who has replied to my post and helped me out ?

There are buttons for 'Like' and 'Thanks' on the far right of the post just under where it says:

+Multi-quote Quote

However they don't appear until you move the cursor over there.

As @stem says they appear under the quote button when you move the mouse there. (see pic above).
