Thinking of using Cempolay

1900x1700 area. Probably a wet room with adjacent privy before wall came down to accommodate bath (which was below central heating boiler..). Refit inc. getting it back to regs. Also, washing machine now downstairs in bathroom.

Screed highest is where the separating wall was.

Does self-levelling actually self-level? Or do I need to work it? The area is so small, maybe level a bit of strip down each side and float a straight edge along them to cut proud areas away?

Should I prep the screed, to stop the existing screed sucking the moisture out of the mix too quickly?

There are no damp issues.

Levelling for click vinyl, hopefully warmer than ceramic.

1 unit will do that. Prime the floor 1st. Just trowel it on at 3mm Use a spike roller if needed.
