This site is behind the times!!

As I have stated, repeatedly, the message that times are in GMT is for users not logged in and should not be displayed at all when you are logged in.
But you did not say that. You said:
If you log out and take a look, you will find the time displayed is indeed in UTC. As I said, that should not be displayed when you are logged in.
Are we supposed to guess that that refers to the message: "All times are GMT"?

I assumed the word "that" referred to UTC time. You are correct in saying that the times displayed when logged off are UTC and, when logged on, are UTC+1hr. However it still does not negate my comment that in the bottom right corner it always says All times are GMT. It is this which needs to be put right.

It shows the correct time within each post, but at the bottom of the screen it still says: "All times are GMT".

That's there for the benefit of foreigners I imagine. It should not be displayed when logged in.

I think that's perfectly clear.

Where did you say anything about synchronising the server?
Network Time Protocol
No need to give me a link, I was using NTP when I was the IT Manager at a college to synchronize all the servers. However, synchronization is not automatic, Windows Time Service has to be configured to point to the appropriate Level 2 NTP servers, e.g those at the NPL.

Windows syncs periodically by default, at least on XP/Vista/7, I don't waste my time with 'server' editions. I don't see where Windows comes into it, however. This server most likely runs Linux, and should be running ntpd as a matter of course.
