This year's new council tax rate

...gets more difficult when somebody cuts your income

Quite - and so to increase local spending it has to come from central or local taxes - we end up paying more either way IF we want better services.

So you have X income and you spend X plus 20% what do you think the outcome will be?

No don't be daft - living with in your means.
If it was just an odd council in financial trouble you could make it a simple case.

But it's Tory and Labour councils struggling, all over the country.

The issue is a bit bigger and deeper than a simple local thing

I did hear the suggestion that Council Tax should be reformed

So that a person with a £50,000 house pays X amount, a person with a £100,000 house pays twice as much, a person with a £500,000 house pays ten times as much, and a person with a £5,000,000 house pays a hundred times as much, and a person with a £50,000,000 house pays a thousand times as much.

Going back to France to look at some maisons next month. Tax d'habitude usually way under half the extortionate council tax in rip off Britain.
Leccy fair bit cheaper too.

Don't worry. He'll never be re-elected if everyone thinks he's sh!t.
Everyone thinks he's shyt, but I hear this very often: "I hate him, I wish he was dead. But I have to vote for him because he's a brother"
WTF!!!
Then there are the ones always voting Labour, regardless of who stands behind that flag.
And then there are the magical postal votes, where you'll find 30, 40 and even 50 people living in a studio flat.
The emperor had a fit when it was suggested to scrap postal vote for all able to get to the poll station.
That's how he keeps getting elected., through pure ignorance and a scam.

Did you see this in a Parliamentary Report on election fraud?

Or did you just make it up?

Don't forget there are just as many (most probably more) who will vote Conservative, regardless of who is behind that flag.

Fact of life that more Tories are more likely to vote (especially with the ID requirement) than for other parties.

If Labour were nailed on winners how did Boris ever win?

You're letting your personal thoughts overrule your head.

who is standing up to him in the election, what's he/she promising different to Khan?
