Thoughts on this? Electric heated towel rail behind door

The door now won't open fully and It won't work to swing the door the other way or outwards (small bathroom/small flat).. It's wall panels so to remove I'm told would be quite a bit of work to re-instate due to holes left etc. I did ask that the Towel Rail was put on that wall but not behind a door so what are people's thoughts on this please? Should I ask to have it removed?

The chrome stand off brackets can be cut back ,may help.

So you are saying you originally requested it be fitted on a different wall but they fitted it to this one anyway?

If it's an electric one (no plumbing) it can easily be moved.

Filling and painting redundant screw holes is a trivial job.

It's your decision whether to get it moved or not but we have had a similar situation & just fitted a doorstop on the floor behind the door to stop it banging on the radiator for the last 20 odd years without it being a problem. https://www.screwfix.com/c/security-ironmongery/door-stops/cat840320

Looks like door is open wide enough for easy access and egress. Also toilet roll holder signifies that toilet is in close proximity to edge of door. If you moved further along wall would you be touching it when the toilet is used?
