Tidy up concrete slab edges

After smashing out some concrete pavers and the concrete base to install some drainage I'm left with an untidy concrete edge which will be visible when I landscape the courtyard. I'm thinking of building a form to create a flat face for the concrete down to ground level and pouring in some concrete in the gap to tidy it up. Does this sound like a viable option or should I be looking for something more liquid to pour down in order to get a decent flat face?

If concrete is the answer, what would be a good mix for this?

Concrete will give you a reasonable finish, depending on how you shutter it. 6:1 is a standard mix i.e. 6 parts ballast to 1 cement (and water).

You can either line the shutter with polythene and risk getting crease marks, or remove the shutter when the the concrete is still green (but set) and rub it up.

Thanks. I usually use melamine board for shuttering brushed with oil. Usually comes out a treat.

It's probably worse than it looks in the pictures. Would take days to tidy up and I really want a flush face
