Hi all,
Can anyone help with question. I am laying some new insulation and electric UFH and need to minimise the floor build up. So far I am laying a layer of DPM, 50mm PIR cut to fit and then was planning on placing a 6 mm cement backed tile back board the UFH mat and then tile on that. I am trying to figure out if there is anyway to securely fix insulated cement lined tile back board (ProWarm) to PIR insulation? I don't want to lay a level of self leveling screed on the PIRas it'll need be roughly 12mm to avoid cracking and this will affect the overall head height. I'm concerned that the 6mm back board won't be held in place well enough of I just lay them down. Can I use an adhesive to glue them to the PIR? Any suggestions would be great.
