Hi, I'm attempting to tile a hip roof. What i can't work out is that some of the tiles when cut are not able to sit on a batten so just kinda rest on the overlap from the tile to the right.
Inevitably they will slip so there must be some way of clipping these in place to prevent the tiles from slipping.
the plan is then to mortar the ridge tiles into place and fix (screw) through into the hip rafter.
firstly, does these clips exist? i have looked and can't see anything that makes sense.
secondly, is there a better way to fix the ridge tiles onto the hip?
cheers
