Tiling over concrete floor paint?

I have a concrete floor with gloss floor paint on top. Is it possible to tile directly over it?

you could all sorts of problems getting the tile adhesive to bond to the gloss, floor grinder will do the job but can be costly to rent. if its a small area a orbital sander will do the job.
