tips to make this gate track/channel more presentable.

looking for ideas on trying to tidy this gate channel/track, i cant make the concrete level as the gates wheel runs along it. i've clean with a brush on the stones, just looks shoddy but driveway is on a slope so the track had to bed in that side for a level gate. was thinking maybe grey floor paint would blend it in a bit more, its not even when its open you can see it when its closed, for closed i could get some brushes and put along the bottom to hide most of it, but when the gate is open it looks really bad

Sorry, expensive; but I would partially relay the drive, adding a grey brick border - as you have at your pavement boundary - to both sides of the rail.

As can be seen from the neatness of the border bricks, driveway contractors can probably do a better job at cutting bricks, than a gate installer! ;)
