Hello all,

I'm creating a new bathroom and would like to run the 4" toilet soil pipe under one end of the bath. I appreciate bath's will differ but is this generally possible? Would a double ended bath (taps in the middle) be a better option for this?

Thank you in advance.

Depending on the bath style there may not be enough space to put a 110mm soil pipe down the side, especially depending on the feet/support the bath sits on, it may have to be raised onto the wall but even then the gap may not be enough.

Typical bath dimensions, as you can see there is 125mm either side (750-400=350/2) so very close but that's at the base and usually the feet/supports sit in the middle of that free space at the bottom.

Thank you for your reply. You mentioned the side, I was thinking about the end (shortest dimension) or is that what you meant?

Ah no, apologies, I presumed running the length for some reason - Just updated with a dimension image that may give you a better idea on the space there would be around a single ended bath. If It's a standard single end then the non tap end should have plenty of space but the tap end probably wouldn't

Brilliant, thank you so much! I've been looking everywhere for a diagram like that. I appreciate your help
