Toshiba TV gone extremely dim.....

Evening all,

After a biblical 4 1/2 hr saga to Lincoln (8hr round trip), I have been greeted on my return by a first - born with no xbox, due to the above.

I've never touched the telly before, so have no idea how any menus etc work.

Any ideas?

32W 1333DB model no.


Possibly a failed backlight?

If so, is it an economical repair for a 32 inch flatscreen Toshiba?

Depends how competent you are at electronic repair?

Google toshiba 32w1333db backlight and look through the resulting links.

A 45p repair sounds about right to me. :)

p.s. take heed of the warning at 16:22 in the above video.
