Slightly confused!

I never knew that track rod ends are also referred to as tie rod ends?

I always thought tie rod ends were the links that secured the anti-roll to the suspension arm.

Track rods and tie rods are the same thing......track rods have always been adjustable at the hub end to set the tracking so this is the better term in my opinion, and the track arm ends fix into the rack with a swivelling ball joint.
The joints that secure the anti roll bar to the struts are called drop links or stabilisers......one is probably a Yankee term.
