Turn off washing machine valve

how do I turn off this valve? It’s for the washing machine which I need to move while I fit new flooring, don’t want to turn off the mains as it may take more than one day. Pliers wouldn’t grip the nut, it feels hand tight, also looks a bit like it’s missing a handle. Thanks

It is missing a handle. You need an adjustable spanner or buy another washing machine valve and use the handle and screw off of that.
