Tv to projector problems

I have had a job today at a sports centre where i had to replace a normal tv that was on the wall with a new 32'' flatscreen with freeview. There is also a projector that was also connected to the old tv. I connected the projector up to the new tv the same way as it was on the old tv but the projector wasn't getting a signal. It was connected up to a scart connector with video and audio connectons the video then goes to the component input on the projector.

The old tv worked ok but now we don't get any signal out there's no vga connections on the Tv

Can you suggest anyting so we can get the projector working

How many scart socket is on the TV?

If more than one, have you check another scart socket on the TV?

All i can think of is that new TV usually have one active socket therefore you will need to go to the TV settings and turn on those sockets.

This also applies to the phono sockets if there are any
