Two led lights in summerhouse from plug socket with fused spur

I have 2 led lights in a summer house that is being fed by a double light switch fed from a fused spur.
So here is the set up, but only one light works.

Light switch has 2 coms and 2 L1 and L2's

Live from fused spur (brown) goes to com in light switch with short wire connecting com on both poles in light switch

Neutral and earth wires from FCU are connected to neutral and earth wires from the 2 led lights using connector blocks.

Live wire from LED lights are connected to L1 connections on both sides individually.

Only one light works from the switch, the other doesnt operate.
I am stumped

The driver or the LEDs themselves may have failed in on of the LED lights.
What type of LED light is it?

To test the switch, put both live wires that go to the two LED lights together into L1 on the left switch and then L1 on the second switch.

If they both led lights work in one of these switches but not the other then it is one of the switches at fault.


But as said, what type of led light is it?

Tested both leds individually and both are working fine.
They are LED batten lights.

The diagram itself is correct wiring and should work right? With one switch turning one light on and off and the other switch the same with the other led light?

Yes your diagram is correct and should have no issues.
I made a typo in in text above (to test the switches) that I have corrected in bold.

I presume you do not have a voltmeter to test if there is 240V between the live and neutral wire at the LED lamp?

If the switch is okay based on my suggested test above. Then I would be looking at the neutral where you split it into two. Take it apart and put it back together.

Other test method is to make a fly lead between the live of the working led and the non working led.
If that makes it work you know there is an issue with the live wire from switch.

If no change then put fly lead between neutral of working led and non working led. If that makes it work then you know it is an issue with the neutral wire between the split and the non working led.

All of this could be caused by screw terminal not touching metal part of wire. At your live jumper wire, or the neutral split, or the second switch

Make sure you are carefull to turn off mains between testing.

And if all that does not work, buy a multimeter and test continuity (or resistance) of each wire between spur and led lamp.
