Hi, i am knocking through a single skin brick internal wall. This is for a standard internal doorway. The span will be 800mm with 150mm bearing either end
The wall is not load bearing and there is approx 900mm of brick above intended lintel.
I have been advised to use robeslee 100 x 100mm type e lintel, but as the height of lintel is larger than the 65mm brick what would be the best way to fill gap above lintel and brick?
I would have thought a 65mm lintel would have done?
I am in Scotland, building regs wise
