So I had my bathroom completely refurbed, but I can’t get into the bleeding loft! Not sure what to do

Move/install new hatch or change for one that opens inward?

The bathroom is a bleeding silly place to put a loft hatch anyway. Mine was in my bathroom but I sealed mine off and relocated it to the middle of the hallway. Why can't you get up there using a ladder?

Make the hatch side hinged on the long side furthest away from the radiator.

Cheers Freddie, just thought I’d share a bit of mishap that’s happened, no need to be a douche

lower, that’ll be the way I reckon I’ll go. Not a huge issue, but still an issue nonetheless. I’ve been taking it off and on for now. Just need to find a side hatch

Cut the corner off the hatch to permit it to fully open and glue the cut-off piece into the ceiling frame so that when the hatch is closed everything looks 'normal'.

Can the hatch not twist a little and make it past the radiator?

Could you make the panel removable .... if you only need access now and again .... or is it possible to cut and hinge the panel ... to allow the leading edge to fold down out of the way first ?

Surely that will leave it hanging in the middle of the room and get in the way of the ladder.

Having it hinged on the long side nearest to the radiator would put it out of the way when it is open. You would need to make sure it did not mark the radiator, but the edge seems to be lightweight plastic so that is probably not an issue.

I wouldn't have thought it will get in the way of the ladder and it doesn't matter if its hanging in the middle of the room when the ladder's down.
